In this study, the mechanical behaviour of a lime-treated silty soil for sea dike construction in hydraulic and saline environments was investigated, with emphasis on the microstructure evolution. The laboratory experiments, combined with the field monitoring data from an experimental sea dike, provided insights into the deterioration mechanisms. Based on the experimental results, a constitutive model was developed, accounting for the coupled effects of salinity and lime content.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-294610 kc_text_block\"><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Short bio:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cen is a third-year PhD student at Navier Laboratory, under the supervision of Prof. Yujun CUI (ENPC), Dr. Nadia BENAHMED (INRAE) and Ms. Sylvie NICAISE (INRAE).
