Des mod\u00e8les num\u00e9riques et des essais \u00e0 \u00e9chelle r\u00e9duite sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s. D\u2019une part on essaie d\u2019optimiser la forme et les rev\u00eatements de ces murs. D\u2019autre part on \u00e9tudie le concept de murs innovants tels que les tunnels semi-ouverts o\u00f9 juste une bande au sommet du tunnel est libre. Cela fait l\u2019objet d\u2019une collaboration avec l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Tongji \u00e0 Shanghai. Le second aspect traite de la mod\u00e9lisation du bruit de contact pneumatique chauss\u00e9e. Il s\u2019agit de pouvoir pr\u00e9dire le niveau sonore en fonction des caract\u00e9ristiques du pneumatique et de la chauss\u00e9e. Le travail r\u00e9cent a surtout port\u00e9 sur la mod\u00e9lisation du contact entre un pneumatique et une chauss\u00e9e rugueuse pour d\u00e9terminer les efforts de contact.
