Les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiques de ces mat\u00e9riaux proviennent d\u2019une transformation de solide\/solide qui est pilot\u00e9e par les sollicitations thermom\u00e9caniques locales et donne lieu \u00e0 la formation spontan\u00e9e de microstructures. L\u2019\u00e9tude de ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est un th\u00e8me tr\u00e8s riche, \u00e9troitement li\u00e9e \u00e0 des questions fondamentales encore ouvertes (notamment sur le plan math\u00e9matique) et en m\u00eame temps tr\u00e8s proche des applications.<\/p>\n<p>Un autre exemple concerne la mod\u00e9lisation du couplage diffusion-plasticit\u00e9 dans les mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s pour les batteries Li-ion (qui sont utilis\u00e9s dans la majorit\u00e9 des appareils \u00e9lectroniques courants).
