A recent approach, developed by Architectural Geometry, consists in translating constructive expectations into geometric properties so that they can be taken into account as early as possible, during the choice of form.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"tab-stops: 118.65pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\">This work studies a family of specific surfaces, called Voss surfaces. They can be constructed from simple elements, straight laths and flat panels, and standard connections. Voss surfaces possess numerous geometric properties that will enable the formulation of design tools for the generation and alteration of geometries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"tab-stops: 118.65pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\">These tools are applied to the realisation of a pavilion called Geogami. The design stages are presented, and detail the choice of materials and techniques.
