The MRI and NMR tools present at Laboratoire Navier are extremely powerful tools to measure the local water content and its physico-chemical environment (confinement, ...), or even to obtain local velocity maps in opaque liquids under flow.
The Navier laboratory has an Axiovert Z1 microscope, which includes a part for confocal microscopy and a part for inverted microscopy coupled to a CCD camera.
Intensive numerical simulations are undertaken on a computer cluster composed of 4 Xeon E7-4860 v2 (2.6 GHz, 12 cores each) CPUs equipped with 1 TiB of RAM.
