After radically transforming the worlds of design and manufacturing in areas such as automotive and aeronautics, digital technology is set to impact the construction field. The MSA team is strongly positioned around 3d printing and robotic construction topics. Research is organized around the Build’In technological platform, integrating 3 large 6-axis robots (2.5m range), for 3D manufacturing and more broadly for Robot Oriented Design. Several academic (Imagine laboratory on Vision and Artificial Intelligence for example) and industrial partners are already supporting this research, and a regional Sesame Build’In + project to structure the sector is in place.
