Suzanne Léonard, PhD student at the Navier Laboratory, received a RILEM young researchers award for the best paper on experimental testing at the 14th International Conference on Structural Analysis of Historical Constructions (SAHC 2025).
Her work, “Analysis of Full-Scale Experiments on Masonry Structures using a Motion Capture System and Digital Image Correlation”, conducted with Julien Archez, Anne-Sophie Colas, and Denis Garnier, validated advanced imaging techniques for measuring displacements in full-scale masonry structures. Suzanne thanks the Association des Artisans Bâtisseurs en Pierre Sèche, and her partners within PN DOLMEN, LAUBAPRO, and ANR MENHIR for their support in the experimental campaigns.
Congratulations to Suzanne for this achievement!
