I am developing a numerical model to study the failure of cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels. The model uses a multi-layer approach with intra- and inter-layer damage models, developed within the laboratory over many years (Thesis by P. Bouteiller). Its predictions are compared with experimental results from other work carried out by the laboratory (Thesis by A. Narcy) .
