Jean Ruel

Doctorant

I am currently a PhD student under the supervision of Frédéric Legoll, Ludovic Chamoin and Arthur Lebée.

Research activities

  • Model Order Reduction in structural mechanics (PGD method, separation of variables)
  • Adaptive control of reduced-order models (estimators of global error and error in quantities of interest)
  • Multiscale problems (slender structures)

Teaching activities

Teaching assistant for first-year engineering students at École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées:

  • Analysis of Partial Differential Equations, 45h per year
  • Continuum Mechanics, 24h per year
